Wright, the purported creator of Bitcoin, and David “JoelKatz” Schwartz, the CTO of Ripple, engaged in a furious altercation on Twitter. Wright's tweet alleging that xrp was a scam triggered the argument.

Wright apparently lost the keys to his cryptocurrency portfolios several years ago following a cyber-attack. Even though this lawsuit was dismissed for the first time last year, the United Kingdom Court of Appeal today ruled that developers could have responsibilities to blockchain owners.
