Two prominent Web3 builders lost dozens of high-value non-fungible tokens () to scammers over the past few days after their crypto wallets were compromised.

The first victim was NFT collector CryptoNovo, who tweeted on Tuesday that he had been hacked.

The attacker appears to have made off with a hefty haul – three CryptoPunks, a Bored Ape, a Mutant Ape, three Meebits and two CloneX NFTs.

Within 16 hours after the portfolio is taken, the new proprietor could sell the ten NFT for a total of 492,66 eth, valued at approximately $618,000 at the time it was written. The funds were then apparently transferred to an account on crypto exchange ChangeNOW, according to on-chain sleuth ZachXBT.

It seems that an attacker also took control of the cryptonovo divisive account in an attempt to steal more money.

"Send nothing to anyone with my name and account number!" CryptoNovo says in a blog post. “The divisiveness you see below is a bogus account.”

Another striker had targeted Nikhil Gopalani, COO of RTFKT, an NFT project that now belongs to Nike. Gopalani said his wallet was emptied as a result of a phishing scam.

Two wallets seem to have drained the Gopalani collection, flying away with 19 TNT CloneX, 18 RTKFT Space Pods, 17 Loot Pods, 11 CryptoKicks and 19 RTFKT Animus Eggs. Not every NFT has been sold, and it is difficult to estimate exactly how much each nft is worth, although it's probably worth more than $140,000, according to the current minimum prices for each collection.

Neither cryptonovo nor gopalani immediately answered Coindesk's request for feedback.
