LAS VEGAS – UTA has signed PROOF, the company at the origin of the popular Moonbirds non fungible token collection, CEO Kevin Rose made an announcement on Friday at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Vegas.

UTA, one of Hollywood's top three talent agencies, will help PROOF extend its reach across a variety of partnerships.

"We will focus on partnerships that extend the birds of the moon far beyond our existing web3 audience, turning the birds of the moon into a global brand," said Rose in a tweet.

“We're already working on the future partnerships that we know you'll love and we couldn't be more enthusiastic about kicking off 2023 in the blink of an eye," Rose tweeted.

Uta told coindesk that the partnership will help develop into "brand partnerships, merchandising, licenses, sponsorships and more, and create new opportunities in film, TV and publishing, among other verticals."

The California-based talent agency has been building its Web3 portfolio under its Web3 head Lesley Silverman, signing NFT projects CryptoPunks and Deadfellaz along with NFT artist Diana Sinclair. In October, UTA said it would boost investments in Web3 startups as part of a partnership with investment firm Investcorp.

Rose did not immediately answer CoinDesk for feedback.
