The blog post also draws attention to the healthy growth of numerous decentralized applications (dApps) on Fantom (

“In 2022, we saw many exciting DApps and projects launch on Fantom. Applications such as, 1inch, premia and unidex allow users to take control of their finances independently, whether it's simply swapping or taking advantage of derivatives. And with a variety of crypto tax software available, users can now outsource the tedious tax reporting from these trades to Crypto Tax Calculator, Blockpit, and ZenLedger”

The Fantom Foundation is also boasting a major tweak to Fantom’s tokenomics, which includes a major reduction in FTM inflation.

'We have adopted a governance proposal that has reduced FTM inflation to 6% by adjusting the milestone awards, which means it will still take ftm a few years to reach its full offer. In 2023, FTM’s inflation will be 1.87%.”

Looking forward to the new year, Fantom wants to incentivize being a dApp developer on the blockchain.

"One of our top priorities is gas monetization, which will provide strong specialty teams with sustainable revenue by sharing revenue based on the gas they use. For users to start using Fantom even more easily, The other thing we're trying to do is introduce gas subsidies, which will enable them to interact with DApps without having to pay their own gas costs; The cost will be paid for by someone else, like a friend who hopes to interest more people in Fantom."
