Cronos, an ecosystem built by major crypto exchange crypto.com, announced the launch of an acceleration agenda to accelerate progress across decentralized finance (challenge), webspace 3 and metaverse, among others.

A driving force behind the initiative, the Cronos Accelerator Program is supported by $100 million to support crypto projects in the start-up and seed stages seeking mentorship, funding and growth. According to the announcement, the projects selected for the fast-track program will be matched with compatible mentors.

Some of the main investment partners supporting the cronos accelerator program include mechanism capital, Spartan laboratories, iosg ventures, ok blockchain capital, ap capital, altcoin buzz and dorahacks. Cronos is looking at integrating other partners in the future. Ken Timsit, CEO of Cronos, added:

"In today's climate, it is more important than ever to bow your head and start building aggressively."

Timsit aims to enhance project potential through end-to-end support throughout project operations. As part of this initiative, cronos' web3 startup accelerator arm cronos labs organises weekly workshops which cover various aspects of crypto project construction.

Future projects have the opportunity to receive between $100,000 and $300,000 in start-up investment in addition to having the opportunity to obtain additional grants. In addition to mentorship and other marketing initiatives, projects will be able to integrate into the CRYPTO.COM ecosystem, including a challenging wallet, crypto exchange and a non fungible token marketplace.
