Brave software announced that it is in partnership with the solana platform, allowing users to access the best dapps on solana directly on the navigator.

The BRAVE browser has seen a significant increase in popularity as the web 3.0 ecosystem grows.

The Brave-Solana Partnership

Brave Software has announced a partnership with the Solana blockchain platform, allowing users to access Solana dApps through the browser, which will now include added support for decentralized applications (dApps) on Solana. Users will be able to buy, send and store directly solana support tokens across its portfolio. The partnership has been announced by the official pseudonym twitter brave software on February 7, 2023.

"@solana dapp support has now been released on brave for ios and android! Besides the storage, sending, and purchase SPL chips within the portfolio, Now you can connect and interact with applications such as @MagicEden, @Orca_so, and @JupiterExchange, directly in the application of your browsers."

Speaking about the partnership, the Head of Partnerships at the Solana Foundation, Amelia Daly, stated,

“User experience can be very fragmented in crypto. The brave dapp integration is important because it enables browser-based connections to your favorite solana programs, and it is mobile-optimized. “

The Co-founder and CEO of Brave, Brendan Eich, stated,

“Brave is increasingly the browser of choice for the Web3 world, and with the addition of Solana DApp support on mobile, we’re expanding that reach to another key group that is seeking fast and friendly ways to use their crypto on the go.”

The Brave team also said that partnering and integrating with Solana will give Brave users seamless access to a multitude of better Solana applications, and perform challenge and NFT transactions on Brave's mobile and web browser versions. The dapps list includes the killer whale, the magic eden, the jupiter swap and many others. With more than 50 million active users per month, many believe the partnership could help the solana ecosystem eliminate some of the losses experienced in 2022.

The Whale Migration

While Brave and Solana have announced their partnership, Solana whales have been busy, with millions worth of Solana on the move as part of a huge transaction between two unknown wallets. The transfers were initially reported by whale alert, a blockchain tracking service, which reported that an unknown whale had transferred 7,981,517 soil valued at about $184,488,088 at the time. The bulk transfer left the shipper's portfolio almost empty, with only about 0.02 floor sitting in the portfolio at the end of the transaction.

Solana salvage price?

Solana has always been one of the most powerful cryptocurrencies, often referred to as the ethereum killer because of its direct competition with ethereum. The floor token is now trading at $22.85, down a little more than 3.50%. The token hit a record high of $259 on November 6 and is now down more than 90% from that intoxicating peak. However, it remains one of the greatest assets in the crypto space.

Solana's price was significantly impacted due to frequent outages on its network and also due to the impact of ftx's collapse, that has had an important impact on the ground and the largest crypto ecosystem. However, solana founders anatoly yakovenko and raj gokal said in spite of the recent unrest in crypto space, solana could show significant growth in 2023. Meanwhile, Brave’s native Basic Attention Token (BAT) has seen a considerable rise over the past month and is currently trading at around $0.29.
