Unity Technologies, the developer of one of the most widely used 3D game engines, has introduced “Decentralization” as a category in its online asset store. It is intended to support developers interested in the web 3 and decentralized gaming technology.
According to the company, in 2021 each month 3.9 billion users played games constructed on the unit. He says his technology underpins 70 percent of the top 1,000 mobile games and more than 50 percent across all platforms.
With the penetration of the unit market into the gaming industry, the latest addition to decentralized gaming technology is a natural extension of the company's product offering.
