Cryptosat – a Californian satellite manufacturer that feeds crypto and blockchain applications – sent another satellite in orbit called crypto2.

The company contracted with the manufacturer of elon musk rockets – spacex.

The Second Mission

According to a document seen by CryptoPotato, Cryptosat sent its second satellite into Earth’s orbit using the two-stage rocket SpaceX Falcon 9 on January 3. The spaceship carried a total of 114 aircraft that could provide assistance to 23 countries.

The second satellite has 30 times as much computing power as the previous one – crypto1, which has been circulating on the planet since last May. The entity’s Co-Founder – Yonatan Winetraub – commented:

“The launch of Crypto2 is a milestone toward infrastructure expansion from a single satellite in 2022. The introduction of crypto2 gives us more availability and stronger specifications to support the growth of the use case portfolio in our development pipeline.”

2022 has been quite successful for Cryptosat. In addition to sending crypto1 beyond the atmosphere, he conducted a test on board the ISS.

The society has introduced a tutorial of APIs in December containing a simulation of satellite trajectory. The software shows developers how to interact with cryptosat's Leo satellites when they arrive in space.

SpaceX and Crypto

Elon Musk’s aerospace manufacturer has already joined the crypto bandwagon. One of the wealthiest people on the planet previously said his firm will “put a literal Dogecoin on the literal Moon.” His announcement triggered a price increase for DOGE, which surged 35% in just a few minutes.

The company interacted with the memecoin in May 2021 during its “DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon.” At that time, people were able to pay their bills 100% in Dogecoin. Tom Ochinero, SpaceX's Vice President of Business Sales, said the initiative showed how cryptocurrencies can "lay the foundation for interplanetary trade."

Musk doubled down on his support toward the memecoin in 2022, stating that SpaceX will enable customers to use the asset as a payment method, similar to what Tesla did.

The chief executive of the firm is so passionate about doge that he called himself the "dogefather" at some point. He has also claimed that the first-ever memecoin is better at handling a large number of transactions than bitcoin.
