The US Department of Justice should announce an "important international measure for enforcing cryptocurrency."
According to a Jan. 18 announcement, U.S. Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco will lead a press conference in which the Justice Department will announce a major enforcement action — now believed to be against the crypto firm Bitzlato. A similar enforcement action should also be announced by the US Treasury Department.
Other speakers included the polished Deputy Attorney General of the Criminal Law Division of the Department of Justice, United States Attorney General Breon Peace District of Eastern New York, Assistant Director, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Brian Turner, and Assistant Secretary for the Treasury Wally Adeyemo.
