SpaceX has finally finished its very first Starship rehearsal in flying gear.

"This was the first time an integrated Ship and Booster were fully loaded with more than 10 million pounds of propellant," the private space firm explained on Twitter.

The new milestone brings us closer to a crucial stage to finally see the spaceship reach its orbit for the first time. The spacecraft is the new generation launch system for Spacex. It will be totally reusable, drastically reducing the costs of successive assignments. In the final analysis, Spacex wants to send humans to Mars.

The first complete repetition of SpaceX.

Those who have followed the highly delayed wet dress rehearsal for NASA's Artemis I mission are likely to know that the wet dress rehearsal refers to the replenishment process. A wet dress rehearsal basically tests all the procedures before you cut it just before a real launch.

In the rehearsal of the ship, which happened at the Spacex starbase in southern Texas on Monday, january 23, For the first time, the airline supplied a ship. Which means that Starship 24, the prototype of the top stage of the ship, was attached to Amplifier 7, the prototype of the ship's super-heavy amplifier. Both are 395 feet (120 metres) tall.

SpaceX loaded liquid oxygen and liquid methane propellant into Starship, which has been fully stacked since the beginning of the month. NASASpaceflight.com live-streamed the wet dress rehearsal on its YouTube channel.

'Today's test will help verify a complete sequence of launch countdowns, as well as vessel and orbital platform performance for flight operations,' wrote spacex on Twitter.

Elon Musk: Starship "March launch attempt appears highly likely"

The wet dress rehearsal was reportedly a success, meaning SpaceX is on track for the maiden orbital flight of Starship in the near future. Earlier this month, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk said Starship could fly to orbit as soon as next month, though a "March launch attempt appears highly likely."

When it does fly to orbit, Ship 24 will detach from Booster 7 and then splash down in the Pacific Ocean near the Hawaiian island of Kauai. Thruster 7 will land in the Gulf of Mexico soon after the launch of the stellar base.

However, before the vessel can be launched, spacex must test all booster 7 raptor engines at the same time. The only way to do that is to dismantle the ship. SpaceX has performed a number of these static fire tests on Ship 24 and Booster 7 in the past few months.

Although not yet in orbit, the ship has been engaged on a number of high-level missions. NASA, for example, has selected the rocket as a lunar lander for its Artemis III mission. It means that the first humans to land on the Moon since 1972 will land on the surface of the Moon using a spaceship. Japanese billionaire Yusaku Maezawa also recently announced the crew of artists and influencers he will take with him on a trip around the moon for the upcoming Starship mission, dearMoon.
