GOLOS BLOCKCHAIN

Golos blockchain was launched on 18 Oct 2016 as a code fork of the Steem blockchain. Initially, Golos blockchain was conceived as a social network for journalists and bloggers of Runet and an independent blogosphere/mass medium without censorship.

Golos’ blockchain uses the DpoS consensus algorithm, proposed by Dan Larimer, which provides high transaction speeds and network bandwidth. Golos’ blockchain is based on the Graphene 2 codebase.
