Introducing Buy with PayPal on MetaMask

The parent company of metamask, consensys, has announced a new partnership with the payment giant, paypal, allowing users in the US to buy ethereum on their portfolio via paypal.

This comes several months after PayPal, in response to user demand, said it will begin to support the native transfer of cryptocurrencies between PayPal and other wallets and exchanges.

All the same, this partnership is one of the rare occasions when a web3 platform partners with one of the largest providers of financial services, paypal, to facilitate cryptocurrency purchases.

The service, which will be launched worldwide in "a few weeks", begins with users in the United States, except in other states like Hawaii. Lorenzo santos, head of product for metamask, told.
